The Mason Consolidated Board of Education has begun the search process to find a new superintendent. Assisting the Board is the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB), a service organization that supports the work of school boards throughout Michigan.
As the profile of the ideal candidate is developed, the boards are soliciting community and staff input. Residents of the district, all staff and administration are encouraged to participate in the process.

The Survey will be open until May 17. Survey responses are sent directly to MASB in Lansing for tabulation. A Candidate Profile will be developed from the input, which will help guide the process as candidates are recruited and selected for public interview. The board expects to select the new superintendent to begin July 1, 2020.
